From October 10 to October 18, the Russians attacked and damaged 408 infrastructure facilities, including more than 45 energy infrastructure objects. In addition, 180 residential buildings were damaged.
“According to Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov, from October 10 to October 18, the enemy attacked and destroyed 408 infrastructure facilities, including more than 45 energy infrastructure objects, launching missile and kamikaze drone attacks on the regions of Ukraine,” Ukrinform learned from the Press service of the Ministry of Development of Municipalities and Territories of Ukraine.
In addition, there is data on the damage to more than 180 residential buildings.
“Each region has an operational crisis response plan, so the damaged critical infrastructure objects are continuously repaired until their full recovery thanks to the teamwork of the central and local authorities, as well as public utility services,” commented Chernyshov.
As reported, on the morning of October 10, the Russians hit power plants in the city of Kyiv, in the Lviv region and in the Vinnytsia region with rockets and Iranian drones.
On the morning of October 17, the Russians launched another series of attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. The massive attack continued on the morning of October 18. In particular, power plants in the cities of Zhytomyr, Dnipro and Kyiv were hit.
