CLEVELAND — The White House announced Saturday that President Joe Biden will visit northeast Ohio next week to discuss infrastructure and its impact on Ohio residents and other Americans.
He will visit Cleveland and Lorain on Thursday. Exact times and locations have not been announced.
According to the White House, Biden will “discuss how the bipartisan Infrastructure Act works for the American people by rebuilding roads and bridges, upgrading water systems, cleaning up the environment, and creating good-paying union jobs.”
When Biden signed the law into law in November, he touted the law as “a blueprint for workers to rebuild America.” He highlighted provisions that would rebuild America’s roads and bridges and expand public transportation and rail service. He also detailed how the law would replace lead pipes carrying potable water across the country and provide expanded access to high-speed internet.
