REYNOLDS – With convenient access to three interstate highways, industrial centers near Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Erie, and room for growth, the Greenville-Reynolds Development Corp. in Mercer County ideal for starting, expanding and relocating businesses.
The three parks – Reynolds Industrial Park, Reynolds North Park and Reynolds East Business Park – are located off Route 18 in the townships of Pymatuning, Delaware and Hempfield, a few miles south of Greenville.
Many businesses in the three parks have expanded and others have relocated to the three parks. More than 50 companies, mostly industrial companies, with 1 to 240 employees are already at home at the GRDC site.
More than 1,600 people work at the site in family-support jobs, with room for many more companies and jobs.
The parks are almost door-to-door connected by Interstate 376 to the Beaver County ethane cracker plant under construction, which offers opportunities for the location of companies that work with plastics. These companies will find shovel-ready sites ranging from 1 to 149 contiguous acres, with a total of 700 acres available for development.
With tax incentives available for some locations, the parks may provide opportunities not only for industrial plants or warehouses, but also for residential development in the Reynolds School District. Interested developers should check with the park owners.
The future of GRDC development is bright with the upcoming redevelopment of the former brownfield site in Damascus with an expandable building that could be a build-to-suit project. Interested parties should inquire with the GRDC.
For prospective workers and managers, the GRDC parks offer the best of all possible worlds with metropolitan entertainment activities in Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Erie within driving distance, but with a lower cost of living and less expensive property. The surrounding area also offers exceptional opportunities for outdoor recreation and several airports are nearby.
At GRDC we are here for the community; We have great national leadership working together to make this happen. The GRDC parks are ready for growth, be a part of it.
