RIAD – Under the aegis of Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saud Bin Naif, Interior Minister and Chairman of the High Commissioner for Industrial Security, the Deputy Interior Minister for Business Affairs, Lieutenant General Saeed Bin Abdullah Al-Qahtani, opened the Saudi International Conference on Industrial Security and the accompanying exhibition on Sunday.
The conference took place at the Ritz Hotel Carlton in Riyadh in the presence of several local, regional and international occupational safety specialists in the Kingdom.
The High Commission for Industrial Security, the organizer of the four-day conference, has set itself the goal of realizing the efforts of the government of the Guardian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, to improve occupational safety measures and to combat risks and threats.
They want to achieve this by developing guidelines, plans and technical, technical and organizational instructions that are necessary to protect petroleum and industrial plants, provide the necessary means for occupational safety and prevent losses.
This includes reviewing the leading role of the kingdom in increasing the importance of occupational safety and proactive in preventing losses, the transfer and sharing of knowledge and experience between specialists in vital facilities, and the discussion of ways of working together.
The conference includes five panel discussions and workshops, presented by international experts and specialists, discussing various topics of interest to professionals in the field of occupational safety and loss prevention.
They are namely “leadership and management in the area of safety, safe design and building regulations, safety inspection and fire protection, readiness and planning for emergencies and crisis management”. and business continuity. – SPA
