JE Dunn Construction promotes Charlie Slattery to Project Manager
JE Dunn Bau announced the recent promotion of Charlie Slattery to Project Lead. A graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, Slattery has spent his entire 16-year career at JE Dunn, where he has delivered notable projects throughout Colorado in markets including higher education, life sciences, data center and mixed-use.
Slattery previously served as a senior project manager, most recently at the University of Colorado’s Anschutz Medical Campus Anschutz Health Sciences Building (AHSB) in Aurora, Colorado. The 394,419 SF, 7-story clinical, research and education building adds to the extensive list of complex structures on Slattery’s resume. Throughout his career, Slattery has demonstrated consistent leadership and composure on challenging projects, leading to continued success in his new role.
As part of JE Dunn’s leadership team, Slattery will continue to have a strong impact on operational excellence at project sites. Passionate about developing the next generation of construction managers, Slattery supports a number of training and development programs at JE Dunn, including the Project Engineer Peer Group.
A Colorado native, Slattery actively supports the community he builds in and recently volunteered for the Denver Parks and Recreation Association during national volunteer week.
Taylor Kohrs hires Tony Perdue as Senior Project Manager
Taylor Kohrs, a Colorado-based general contractor for nearly 40 years, announced that it recently hired Tony Perdue as senior project manager. Perdue brings to Taylor Kohrs more than two decades of experience in the construction industry, including leading design-build projects.
In his role as senior project manager at Taylor Kohrs, Perdue leads projects – including educational, multifamily and commercial verticals – from concept design through GMP development to final completion and warranty. He ensures supervisors, project managers and engineers have a clear path to successfully completing their work, and leads pre-construction teams to solve design and constructability challenges and meet schedules.

Perdue earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado. He is a certified IBC Class A General Contractor and Supervisor for City and County Denver Commercial B Contractors. Perdue is also OSHA 30 certified.

Under McNeish’s leadership, the land use team has successfully approved nearly every project in the company’s $2 billion development history, solidifying Confluent’s reputation as a developer who delivers predictable performance on complex land use opportunities. As the building permitting landscape rapidly evolves, McNeish’s guidance and vision will inform the company’s future strategies, including the introduction of core solutions and technologies that continue to enhance and document active community engagement.
Confluent Senior Living continues to expand its presence nationally and invest heavily in its ability to create healthy spaces for seniors and employees. In order to initiate the growth spurt for this business area, Matt Derrickformer Senior Development Director, will assume the role of Vice President of Development at Confluent Senior Living.
For the past six years, Derrick has been instrumental in expanding and deploying the Confluent Senior Housing pipeline to ensure projects receive permissions and permits and construction stays on schedule and on budget. In this role, Derrick will work closely with Confluent Senior Living’s President, John Reinsma, to identify, track and acquire locations in new and existing markets nationally for future development. In addition to his development work, Matt was elected to the Future Leaders Council of the preeminent senior housing organization, The National Investment Center.
As Confluent focuses on specializing in its core asset classes within its core businesses, it plans to build a well-rounded team structure to execute custom and complex commercial, mixed-use, retail, senior housing, industrial and office projects. The company welcomes two development directors to support the company’s overall growth strategy: Cadie Crean and Mia Maestas.
Cadie Crean is Director of Development, leading Confluent’s industrial and office development platforms. Cadie has over 10 years of institutional real estate experience, most recently at Bow River Capital where she served as Vice President in the firm’s real estate group and was responsible for sourcing, structuring and managing real estate investments within the firm’s portfolios. Her experience at Bow River and previous companies such as EverWest Real Estate Investors and AEW Capital Management included a focus on office, industrial and retail real estate in multiple western and east coast mountain markets.
Mia Maestas joins Confluent Senior Living Division as Development Director who will work closely with other team members to maintain organization and alignment during this period of growth. Maestas comes from NexCore Group’s Real Estate Management team, where she most recently served as Operations Analyst, performing financial reporting and analysis, asset management and data analysis, including ESG, for their medical practice and construction portfolio.
