Exhibitions allow children to let their imaginations run wild. The Kearney Area Children’s Museum is celebrating its 30th birthday with “KACM Remix” 4-8pm 16.

KEARNEY – A traveling exhibit, Discover the Sun, Earth, Universe, opened at the Kearney Area Children’s Museum at 5827 Fourth Avenue. It can be seen until December.

The exhibition asks questions such as “How is the earth changing?” “How is it on other planets?” and “Is there life beyond the earth?”

Packed with engaging, interactive exhibits and stunning imagery, this 600-square-foot exhibit will connect visitors to NASA’s scientific research and take them on a journey to explore the universe.

Children of all ages can enjoy:

– Follow the engineering design-build test cycle

– Build a model spaceship for your own mission into space.

– Rotate a beaker with 10,000 pearls representing all the stars seen from Earth to search for the unique one that represents our sun.

– Reveal hidden images using the same tools NASA scientists use to explore the unseen forces and energies of the universe.

– Play the board game Your Mission to Space

– Help younger visitors control rovers from the Martian landscape gaming table.

The exhibition was created in partnership with NASA as part of a nationwide effort to engage the public in the fields of earth and space sciences.
